If you must consume French fries, bake them instead of frying. Cut your potatoes about a 1/2″ thick, put them into a bowl with a tbsp. of oil, then lightly add a pinch of rosemary (optional), salt, and pepper; bake one layer for 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Loosen with a spatula, turn, and bake another 10 min. or so. These taste great with ketchup, have reduced calories and might make you forget about deep-fried potatoes. These “French Bakes” are courtesy Laurel’s Kitchen cookbook.
Losing weight is not always easy, and it takes time. Even so, you should take it seriously because being healthier is a great reward. Be consistent with your exercise and eating routines. This will make sure the weight stays away.
